Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the SpeakMyAlert Android application, package ID com.ssteam.app.callsmsnotifier (the “App”). The App is published on Google Play under the developer name Shiravix and is owned and operated by Sonam Agrawal (“we,” “us,” or “our”). SpeakMyAlert announces visible notifications from apps selected by the user.

1. Information processed by SpeakMyAlert

When notification announcements are enabled, SpeakMyAlert may temporarily process:

• the source app, title, and visible text of notifications posted by selected apps; and
• the announcement text sent to your selected text-to-speech engine for playback.

SpeakMyAlert processes this content to provide the action or spoken announcement you requested. SpeakMyAlert does not create a user account or upload this content to a SpeakMyAlert, Shiravix, or Sonam Agrawal server.

2. Notification access

If you explicitly enable notification announcements and grant Android Notification access, SpeakMyAlert can read the source app, title, and visible text of notifications posted by other apps. The App uses this information to speak the notification aloud. Password fields and notifications without visible announcement content are ignored.

Notification content is processed as it arrives and is not saved by SpeakMyAlert or sent to a SpeakMyAlert server. You can disable this feature in the App or revoke Notification access in Android settings.

3. Text-to-speech

Announcements are played through the text-to-speech engine and voice selected on your device. An online text-to-speech voice may transmit the text being spoken to its provider. The speech-recognition and text-to-speech providers are independent services and their privacy terms apply.

4. Background operation and notifications

When notification announcements are active, SpeakMyAlert may run a foreground media playback service and show an ongoing status notification. The notification tells you that monitoring is active and provides a control to pause announcements. Android's notification permission is used to display this status and its controls.

5. Advertising and consent

SpeakMyAlert displays banner and interstitial ads using Google Mobile Ads and uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent or provide advertising privacy choices where required. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, and app-scoped identifiers for advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

SpeakMyAlert also uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage and stability. Firebase Analytics may process app interactions, device or app identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic information under Google's terms. SpeakMyAlert does not send notification titles or notification message content to Firebase Analytics.

SpeakMyAlert requests Android's Advertising ID permission so Google Mobile Ads can use the resettable Advertising ID, when available and allowed by your consent choices, for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, security, and fraud prevention. SpeakMyAlert does not request Android Privacy Sandbox Ad Services permissions. The App does not provide notification content to the advertising SDK.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

SpeakMyAlert stores configuration data in the App's private local storage. This may include the enabled and pause states, selected voice, speed and pitch, quiet-hour schedules, sound-mode and privacy controls, notification-content choices, selected or previously detected app package names, and notification-disclosure acceptance.

Notification text is processed for the requested announcement and is not retained by SpeakMyAlert after that processing finishes.

Google's consent, advertising, and analytics components may store consent choices, advertising preferences, analytics events, fraud-prevention information, identifiers, and related SDK state as described in Google's policies. SpeakMyAlert may also store the time an interstitial ad was last displayed to enforce an in-app display interval.

Android system backup and device transfer are disabled for the App. Locally stored configuration remains until you change or remove it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Data processed independently by Google, a speech provider, or another service is governed by that provider's retention policy.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your notification content. Information may be processed by Google Mobile Ads, Google's User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, and the text-to-speech provider selected on your device as described above.

When you deliberately use the App's Share action, Android sends the prepared app link or text to the app or person you choose.

8. Your choices and controls

• Enable, disable, or pause notification announcements.
• Select which installed apps may have their visible notifications announced.
• Configure or disable office-hours and sleep-time quiet schedules.
• Pause announcements or turn monitoring off from the ongoing notification.
• Change the selected text-to-speech voice.
• Revoke Notifications or Notification access in Android settings.
• Clear all locally stored preferences by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.

9. Security

SpeakMyAlert limits retained information to private app preferences and relies on Android's permission and application sandbox protections. No device or transmission method is completely secure. Spoken announcements may be heard by people nearby or through the connected audio device, so you should enable message-content announcements only where appropriate.

10. Children's privacy

SpeakMyAlert is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International processing

Google and text-to-speech providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their handling of information is governed by their respective policies and applicable safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when SpeakMyAlert's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective or last-updated date at the top of this page when changes are published.
